Side by side, they are almost exactly the same thickness and the bolt holes line up. The rubber used in it is slightly firmer so still not as stiff as even just urethane so the whole thing about causing vibrations is silly IMO. Really, just get what you want. I have it and wouldn't change it, but others have OEM and wouldn't change it. I chose to get it cause it is slightly firmer and still has exhaust hanger locations. That's all.
